HDMI 1080p upscaling gives you pure and sharp images by eliminating the line structure commonly found on TV screens. It reproduces the number of pixels in standard definition to reach a high definition resolution of 1920 x 1080. The Progressive Scan process means that instead of odd-numbered lines and even-numbered lines appearing in succession on the screen (as in the interlacing method), they appear on the screen at the same time to create a full image instantaneously.
