The holes in the teats are laser cut and will not change in size over time. If your baby is having a harder time getting milk, the teat is probably clogged. To unclog the teat, roll the tip of the teat between your thumb and forefinger to loosen any build-up. Remember to wash the teats with soap and water after each use. If you make a practice of rolling the tip of the teat between your fingers with each washing, you will be sure to clean out any remaining breastmilk or formula. And always be sure to rinse the bottle and teat well after washing.
